Lynette Anderson has designed a Mystery Button Club for the past ten years and ‘George & the Donkey’ is the newest one starting in September 2022.  It’s a seven-part monthly mystery block of the month with a hand painted button on Block 1 only.
Lynette has designed a delightful thatched cottage tucked behind a stone wall, an apple tree filled with juicy red ripe embroidered apples, a sweet black Labrador named George and a little grey donkey with a finished size of approx 36” x 36”.  
Techniques that include, applique, embroidery, simple piecing, Suffolk puffs (yoyo’s), wool applique and EPP (English Paper Piecing).
This is a very scrappy quilt, Lynette has chosen to make her quilt using fabrics from a huge variety of her fabrics from collections dating back several years.
